The list of winners for 2023 German Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design has been announced recently. HFU teacher Ms. Xiang Wan from School of Design won 3 awards.
Ms. Xiang Wan’s works “Application of Shanghai Chongming Dongtan Nature Reserve for World Natural Heritage” won the award for “Brand Identity Design”, “4A Scenic Spot Jiangxi Fuzhou Magu Mountain” for “Tourism Brand Image Design”, and “Pae Kitchenware” for “Commercial Brand Image Design”. These 3 works will be published later in 2023 Annals of International Brand and Communication Design, and can be found on the website www.red-dot.org.
This is the second time Ms. Xiang Wan has won the Red Dot Award (the other one in 2018), which indicates the development of professional construction of School of Design, and encourages teachers and students to actively devote themselves to creation and participation in high-level international competitions in the future.
The Red Dot Award, together with the German IF Award and the US IDEA Award, is known as the world’s three major design awards.
