On October 22, Wu Chunmei, Chair of HFU Council, meets with Mr.Pit Heltmann, the new Consul General of German Consulate in Shanghai, and his delegation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Wu Chunmei extends a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduces the cooperation projects and development between HFU and German universities. Wu notes, HFU and German universities have undergone a long-term cooperation from offline to online, from one-way to two-way for a unique way of applied talents cultivation. She says that HFU will continue to learn from German “dual-system” talents training mode to build a platform for students training, teachers exchange and school-enterprise cooperation.
Mr.Pit Heltmann fully affirms HFU’s achievements of cooperation with German universities. He points out that it is a challenge both for students to apply what they have learned into practice and for universities to explore the teaching reform based on social needs. HFU’s exploration in the applied talents cultivation is of enlightening significance to German universities. He also hopes that HFU and German universities can learn from each other and expand the depth and breadth of cooperation and exchange, especially in “learning for practice”.
