Mr. Wang Qidong, president of HFU,meets Mr. Li Wenping, the commissioner of the New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE) on December 11.
President Wang Qidong warmly welcomes Li Wenping’s arrival and briefly introducesHFU’s internationalization. He says that the university actively develops cooperation with Germany and Korea, and next will explore the exchange and cooperation with American applied universities.
Mr. Li Wenping gives a brief introduction to NEBHE, which is a regional higher educational organizationauthorized by the U.S. Congress and approved by New England’s six state legislatures, with the membership of more than 270 colleges and universities,including Harvard University, Yale University, Dartmouth College and the like. He hopes to bring high-quality educational resources to China forthe cooperation between applied universities.
During the talk, the two sides reach a preliminary consensus on specialty setting and applied talent training.
