On November 28th, HFU President Wang Qidong meets the Sapporo University delegation led by its President Mr. Hiroki Arakawa.
After delivering his welcome to the delegates, Mr. Wang Qidong briefly introduces Hefei University, especially its international cooperation and expresses his hope to establish a cooperative relation with Sapporo University.
Afterwards, with gratitude, Mr. Hiroki Arakawa makes a general introduction to Sapporo University, and says that his university shares a lot in common with HFU, so he also hopes the two sides can learn from each other and make progress together.
After the meeting, the delegates watch the Dragon Dance, Lion Dance and Chinese Wushu performed by HFU students. In addition, they even learn to perform Dragon Dance and Tai Chi, who thus have got a better understanding of Chinese culture.
As one of the activities for “China-Japan Youth Exchange Promotion Year”， the visit of Sapporo University delegation will promote China-Japan friendship and enhance Japanese youths’ understanding of Chinese culture.
