From March 4th to 12th, Mr. Ralf Glitza, an expert in the theory of German teaching and college didactics from Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences(Germany), carries out a training program for over 20 teachers of German at HFU.
From March 4th to 7th, he delivers lectures on teaching principles, teaching design, output-oriented and action-oriented teaching methods and how to improve students’ involvement in class.
On March 11th and 12th, Mr. Glitza, together with those HFU teachers of German, visits the class of Logistics Management 2018 (one of Sino-German cooperation projects). Afterwards, he gives comments on the teaching design, class organization and students’ performance as well as his suggestions.
On the afternoon of March 12th, Mr. Glitza gives a demonstration class for Class 2, Logistics Management 2018. He tries to motivate students to think deeply by means of picture displaying, group work, mind-mapping and culture comparison between China and Germany. Teachers involved express that they will learn from Mr. Glitza’s teaching approach to expose students to more opportunities of speaking German with more diversified teaching designs, which will help to enhance their teaching abilities.
